This is version 2.7.6 of gv, an X11 ghostscript frontend based on
Tim Theisen's ghostview 1.5.

This version surely works on
   Linux (gcc 2.7.2.1)
   OpenVMS AXP (DECC 5.2,DECC 5.0)
and most probably also on
   Solaris
   FreeBSD
   NetBSD
   Digital UNIX
   SunOS
   HP/UX
   Irix
   OSF/1

I'd like to thank Martin Buck (Martin-2.Buck@student.uni-ulm.de) for not
only extensively checking gv on Linux, Solaris, Irix and HP/UX but also
for his suggestions, bug reports, bug fixes and discussions.
Tim Adye (adye@v2.rl.ac.uk) sent me quite many bug reports concerning the
VMS version. Fortunately he always included the appropriate fixes also :-)
Bjorn Nilsson (Bjorn.S.Nilsson@nbi.dk) put a lot of time into checking and
fixing gv on Digital UNIX.
Certainly I'd also like to thank all those who sent me suggestions, bug 
fixes and workarounds for portability problems for FreeBSD, SunOS, 
Solaris and other operating systems.
