Task Schedules
The Task Schedules window,
with the help of a realtime clock on subsystems, allows you to create and save
any number of schedules with different kinds of maintenance tasks. These schedules
can be executed with a specific physical drive or a logical configuration of
disk drives.
To Configure a Task Scheduel:
Step 1: Open the Task Schedules
window. Right-click to display Add a New Task Schedule
command.
Step 2: Select each physical or logical drive by a single mouse click.
Step 3: Select a start time by a single mouse click on each numeric representative
of the current time display in the Start Time selection box.
Use the up and down arrows to change its values.
Step 4: Make your choice with Execute on Controller Initialization
or Execute Media Scan on all destination element concurrently
by selecting or deselecting the check boxes.
Step 5: Set your preference with the Priority and the Period
(time intervals between the end of a sheduled task and the beginning of the
next task).
Step 6: Click Apply for the configuration to take effect.
Once properly configured, a task schedule is displayed on the Task Schedules
list above.
